Final 1 outcome

To reflect the urban architecture, I used grey and black non-woven fabrics as the main background, cutting them into similar sized shapes and piecing them together in an orderly fashion, like the bricks and cement that make up the buildings, but without the hardness, keeping the overall soft and warm atmosphere.

On the background I have fixed the tufting flowers and leaves through embroidery, and I have added additional blooms and small flowers to accent them. The plants are made of plush tufting, the soft touch of which represents the inclusive nature of the plants. Here I have trimmed the tufting to give it a flatter touch.

The background and the plants are divided into two layers, and by overlaying the two materials with different textures, the piece has a more pronounced three-dimensional effect.
